Okay, so, I've done my research, and now I finally understand how the leveling system in Redemption works.
Basically, you keep leveling up to level 50 (I'm at 44). When you get to level 50, you won't have everything unlocked. Instead, you have the option to enter Legendary mode.
Call of Duty players will instantly recognize this as a clone of CoD's Prestige mode. And honsestly, it is.
When you enter Legend mode, you will lose all your weapons and mounts, but thankfully, you get to keep your characters. You start back at level one, and work your way up to level 50 once again.
There are 5 Legend modes, meaning you have to go to level 50 five times in order to be the highest possible level.
With each Legend mode you do, you earn extra unlocks that you couldn't get before. For expample, you earn a new Legendary character each time. (Btw, the legendary characters are nothing special at all)
I hope this helped you understand the multiplayer better. I'm writing this in the middle of the night, so I may have left some things out. If you have any questions just post them below.

It's also just like Cod prestige in the sense that it's useless.

I completely disagree.
Think about it, I've only had the game for a week, and up until yesterday I thought that I was just about completely finished with the online.
Now, there is a lot more for me to do.
Honestly, I like this feature, and if you don't, just don't enter Legendary mode.

Believe me, it's not worth starting over, the characters are some of the most putrid looking mistakes that were ever conceived.

What he said
Also the mounts. Riding buffalo and bison around like tamed horses? No, and a zebra? come on it needs to stay reasonably realistic.

It's fully possible to breed a zebra and a donkey, as well as tame it.

Never knew that was possible but it looks like they might choke soon after they are born.
Also in game it's a normal white African zebra not a brown or greyish one. If they made it grey with some white than maybe it would be reasonable.

@Alpha: I'm going ot get to level 50 and just stay there for a while, but without a doubt I'll eventually play through all the legend modes. As for the characters, like I said, they're crap, and I don't care about them. What I do care about is getting the fastest vehicle, the zebra donkey, and I plan on eventually getting that.
@Tango: You're actually expecting realism? You do know that there are donkey-ladies in this game, right?

Pretty much everything is realistic to an extent in SP, it's the mp with dang super zebra's that pisses me off.

Lol that's pretty neat but obviously a glitch or Easter egg in the game.
