Band of Brothers

Well I just wanted to mention that the HBO Mini Series "Band of Brothers" is on this weekend. It will be on SPIKE, although I'm not sure if it is showing in Canada.

Info:

Band of Brothers is a 10 part series about the story of Easy Company of the US Army 101st Airborne division and their mission in WWII Europe.

It is a really good series, basically a movie, only on TV.

It was created by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.

To me it closely resembles the movie Saving Private Ryan (my favorite movie).

Anyway, if you can, I highly recommend you watch it.

Umm plz dont talk to me about BoB b/c i am the master i own every episode seen every one 10 times and have teh skillz. Although saving private ryan is not my favorite movie it still does resemble it in a way

Who is this Bob person you guys are talking about? I just wanted to tell you about Band of Brothers, but all you guys are going off topic in my thread! I don't who Bob is, but quit freakin' discussing him. Mad

My Review of Band of Brothers:

Probably the best series I've ever watched on TV.

The battle scenes and effects were great, even if it wasn't as gory as Saving Private Ryan.

Not much of a story, but you got to know all the characters really well.

Seeing the real soldiers that this was based on at the end was really cool, especially seeing the real d*** Winters.

Overall, it gets a 9.5/10 for me, lol.
